Anyone with a genuine desire to help people can qualify as a Foot and Hand Carer. You do not need to have a medical or paramedical background (although if you do, that's a bonus).
You know from your own experience that capable Carers are a diverse group. Relatives, friends, next door neighbours, personal care assistants, community health workers, nurses and nurse assistants all perform the tasks associated with foot and hand care within our community. Yet none of these Carers have a specific background in foot and hand care.
All the information you need to find out how to become a Foot and Hand Carer is contained in 'How to become a Foot and Hand Carer' section of this site.
